Replacements and Refunds

Getting a replacement pass or a refund for a purchased pass is possible in certain situations and usually depends on the agency though which you purchased the pass.

Replacements

There are a few times when you may need to replace your annual Discover Pass. If your pass is damaged, you’ve changed license plate numbers or purchased an annual pass from an automated pay station, you can request a replacement pass. We are unable to replace lost or stolen Discover Passes.

Mail us your current annual pass along with your mailing address and your phone number/email address. If the replacement is due to a license plate change, also include a copy of your new vehicle registration. Once we receive your request via mail, we will send you a replacement Discover Pass. Please allow 15 business days for mailing in both directions.

Refunds

Discover Pass refunds are possible in limited circumstances and usually depend on how you purchased the pass.

Purchased through this website

If your pass was purchased through this website, call Discover Pass Customer Support at (844) 271-7041 or e-mail discoverpass@dcgone.com within 60 minutes of purchase for a refund.

In person at a Washington State Park

You may request a refund within 30 minutes of purchasing the pass directly from Washington State Parks. Request your refund at the location where you purchased the pass.

In person at a licensed dealer

You may request a refund within 60 minutes of purchasing a pass in person through Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Request your refund through the license dealer where you purchased the pass.

Purchased online or over the phone with WDFW

You may request a refund within 60 minutes of purchasing online or over the phone through the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Contact WDFW at (866) 320-9933 during normal business hours or email licensing@dfw.wa.gov.
