More than a parking pass
Your Discover Pass also unlocks much more than the outdoors. The pass can get you free admission to museums, lighthouses and visitor centers. Gaze at the stars with free admission to Goldendale Observatory, one of the few public telescopes in the country. Learn about the petrified forest and take in sweeping views of the Columbia River with free admission to the museum at Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park.
Explore our state’s history with free admission to the Civilian Conservation Corps museum at Deception Pass, where you can learn about this Roosevelt-era initiative that helped pull the country out of the Great Depression. Your Discover Pass also gets you access to read the seven story circles installed by internationally-known artist Maya Lin at Sacajawea Historical State Park. Learn about the Ice Age floods that shaped our land and explore the largest prehistoric waterfall with free admission to Dry Falls Visitor Center.
In state parks, the Discover Pass is for day visits. Park daytime hours end at dusk.
