There are a few different ways to get outdoors and explore your state lands without purchasing a Discover Pass. All state-managed lands are free to visit without a Discover Pass when accessed by boat, public transit or non-motorized means such as on foot, by horse or via bicycle.

Free Parking Days

The state hosts several “Discover Pass Free Days” throughout the year where a Discover Pass isn’t needed to park at public lands.

Check Out Washington
