State Parks Free Days

Washington State Parks has announced the following free days, when the Discover Pass will not be required to visit a state park or lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. Please note, free days apply only to day use (not overnight stays or rented facilities)

  • March 19 — State Parks’ 108th Birthday
  • April 3 — Springtime free day
  • April 22 -- Earth Day
  • June 5 — National Trails Day
  • June 12 — National Get Outdoors Day
  • June 13 — Free Fishing Day
  • June 19 — Juneteenth
  • Aug. 25 — National Park Service Birthday
  • Sept. 25 — National Public Lands Day
  • Nov. 11 — Veterans Day
